How does multi-region verification work? +
Every check runs from 10 locations across the US, Europe, Asia, and South America. If one region reports a failure, the others confirm it before we alert you. This eliminates false alarms from regional network blips and gives you confidence that every alert is a real outage. All plans — including the free tier — use every region.
What alert channels do you support? +
Email, Discord, Slack, Telegram, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, and custom webhooks. You can mix-and-match however you like. Each plan includes a generous channel allowance (5 on Free, up to 100 on Business). Webhook channels count toward your plan limit; email alerts start at 20/month on the free tier.
What types of monitors do you support? +
HTTP monitors check any URL and validate status codes, response content, and SSL certificates. Game monitors query Source Engine game servers (Rust, CS2, Valheim, etc.) via the A2S_INFO protocol and show live player counts, current map, and server details. TCP monitors verify that a port is open and accepting connections. Ping (ICMP) monitors check basic host reachability. All types benefit from multi-region verification on every plan.
Can I create a public status page? +
Yes. Every plan includes at least one public status page you can share with your users or team. Pick which monitors appear, and PoppaPing automatically shows real-time status, uptime history, and active incidents. The free plan includes 1 status page; paid plans support up to unlimited.

Is there an API? +
Yes! PoppaPing has a full REST API. Create and manage monitors, query uptime and check history, list incidents, and configure alerts — all programmatically. Generate API keys from your account settings. See the API documentation for details.
How does billing work? +
We accept credit/debit cards (via Stripe) and Bitcoin (via BTCPay Server). Card subscriptions auto-renew and can be cancelled anytime from your billing page — your plan stays active through the end of the paid period. Bitcoin payments are one-time; we'll remind you before expiry. You can upgrade plans at any time, and if you don't renew you simply move back to the free tier — no data is deleted.
Do you offer an SLA? +
PoppaPing is provided on a best-effort basis. We run on dedicated infrastructure across multiple regions on 4 continents and aim for near-perfect uptime, but we don't offer a formal SLA with financial credits. We're transparent about any issues on our own status page.
